2. Refill w i t h the same t y p e o f brake f l u i d ;
m i x i n g fluids may result in a harmful
chemical reaction and lead t o poor Per-
formance.
3. Be careful that water or other contamina-
t i o n does not enter the master cylinder
when refilling. Water w i l l significantly
lower the boiling p o i n t and may result in
v a p o r l o c k .
4. Brake f l u i d may erode painted surfaces
or plastic parts. Always clean up spilled
f l u i d immediately.
5. Because brake f l u i d is water absorbent,
it should be changed at least once a year,
by a Yamaha dealer.
6. Have a Yamaha dealer check if the brake
f l u i d level goes d o w n faster than normal.
