PHASE 6:
Turning the tire further on the rim
1. Detach the wheel from the flange.
i
To turn the tire on the rim it may be necessary to
deflate the tire, unseat it again (using a tire fitter)
and re-inflate after turning.
2. Turn the tyre on the rim until the mark coincides
with the position of the valve.
3. Clamp the wheel.
4. Turn the valve to the 12 o'clock position.
5. Press <I>.
« The new position of the wheel on the flange is
stored.
i
To turn the tyre on the rim it may be necessary to
deflate the tyre, unseat it again and re-inflate after
turning.
PHASE 7:
2. Checking measurement
1. Close the wheel guard.
« The test run commences.
i
If the test run is to be repeated, the monitor displays
an appropriate message. In this case, continue again
with minimization (PHASE 5 onwards).
"
On completion of the test run, the unbalance is
automatically compared to the minimum residual
unbalance value. If the difference between these two
values is below the maximum permissible level, the
tyre and rim are optimally matched.
2.
