9.7.3 Splitting the balancing weights (Split program)

The external weight hidden behind the spokes can
be applied for non-standard programs (ALU2, ALU3,
Pax2).

The "split program" is called up after measurement
if the balance weights have to be attached at a
certain position (for example behind the spokes).
We recommend attachment using Easyfit®.
1. Select the split program and the number of spokes.
2. Move the required position (e.g. a spoke) to the
12 o'clock position.
3. Confirm with <I>.

4. Fix the balancing weight with the electronic calliper
gauge.

9.8 Fixing of spring-clip weights

Use the counterbalance clamp to position the
spring-clip weights.

1 Bit for removing the spring-clip weight
2 Hammer for fixing the weight on the rim
3 Shear for cutting the adhesive weights
4 Undercut for crushing the spring-clip weight
5 Blade for scraping the adhesive weights
5. Once the correct position of the balancing
counterbalance is reached, rest the spring-clip
weight on the rim edge.
6. Fix the spring-clip weight on the rim using the
weight positioning clamp hammer (2).

Use the bit (1) of the weights positioning clamp to
remove the spring-clip weight.
