Preheating
The appliance disposes of a preheating phase to temper all ingredients to the optimum temperature
for preparation. During this stage there are no motor or kneading noises. So it is no fault, if the
machine does not start to knead immediately after pressing the START/STOPP button.

Kneading dough

The breadmaker mixes and kneads the dough automatically until it reaches the proper consistency.
Remove kneader
We recommend to remove the kneader with floured hands after the last kneading phase to keep the
hole in bread small. In the program BASIS/BASIC MODE this can be done 71 min. after starting the
machine, in the program SCHNELL/FAST MODE 20 min. after starting the machine. Please use a
kitchen timer to get the correct timing. After having removed the kneader you can treat the surface
before the dough starts to rise, e.g. by making some cuts in the surface or by spreading seeds on
top or by brushing the top with a mixed egg yolk to get a brown surface.
Rising of the dough
After kneading the breadmaker produces the optimal temperature for rising of the dough.
Bak ng
i
The breadmaker regulates the baking temperature and time automatically. The end of the baking
time is indicated by 5 beeps which means that the bread can be removed resp. that the keep-warm
time of 30 min. starts.

Keeping warm

After the end of baking the breadmaker starts the keep-warm stage of approx. 30 min. The ready
control lamp over the START/STOPP button starts to light. If you do not want the keep-warm
function, you can cancel this stage be pressing the START/ STOPP button (min. 4 seconds).
Rebaking
If the surface is still too light at the end of the keeping warm phase, you can choose the program
CROSS-BACKEN/REBAKING. Then press the START/STOPP button to bake the bread for another
15 min. A new keeping warm phase of 30 min. will follow after rebaking.
End of the program
At the end of the program the breadmaker returns to the initial position. Remove the bread pan by
using oven gloves and turn it onto a cooling wire. Waggle the kneading drive from below until the
bread falls out. Now you can see exactly, where the kneader is. Cut in the bread slightly and draw
out the kneader.
If you don't want to make more bread, remove the plug from the receptacle.
