TROUBLESHOOTING

8.1 Diagnostic Messages and Solutions
The PIEZOSURGERY plus is provided with a diagnostic circuit that detects any operating
anomalies and display them on the touch screen by using the "MED-XXX" notation.
There are three different levels of event notifications:
Blocking
These conditions cause the device
operation halting, preventing the use of
the specific channel or the whole device
in order to protect the patient.
Non-blocking
These conditions temporarily inhibit the
use of the specific channel or the whole
device. The Operator MUST confirm
the reading of the message in order to
proceed.
NOTE: In the event of a non-blocking
condition, after having confirmed
the reading of the message, it will
be necessary to confirm that the
necessary actions have been carried
out in order to proceed.
Information Message
These conditions indicate the presence
of an anomaly; the device continues to
operate, but with limited functionalities.
The messages are displayed periodically,
one by one, with the identifier of the
current message and the indication of
the total number of anomalies detected.
