Select the audio level adjustment mode of the desired channel.
Set the audio level switch to A to let the camera adjust the audio level automatically or to M to adjust
the audio level manually.

If you selected manual audio level adjustment, turn the corresponding – dial to adjust the
audio level.
For reference, the 0 corresponds to –G, 5 corresponds to 0 dB, and 10 corresponds to +18 dB.
Using an analog microphone that requires phantom power: Be sure to connect/disconnect
the microphone with the camera turned off or when the respective INPUT switch is set to the
MIC position. Only after the microphone is connected, set the switch to MIC+48V.
To connect a microphone or other audio device that is not compatible with phantom power,
make sure the respective INPUT (audio source selection) switch is set to a position that
matches the device (LINE or MIC). Setting the switch to MIC+48V may damage the audio
device.
Removing the Adapter
1.
Turn off the camera.
2.
Disconnect the unit cable from the camera's and the
microphone adapter's AUDIO terminals ( ).
Pull back the metallic tip of the plug and then disconnect
the cable from the terminal.
3.
Unscrew the lock screw ( ) and then gently slide out
the microphone adapter from the camera's accessory
shoe ( ).
