Adjustment - Manual operation

186
To be able to use the function, the temperatures on the feeder pump have to be recorded:
Multi-Flow Adaptation
in the secondary feed (T1) downstream of the hydraulic shunt
can take mixers in
secondary pumps
into account. For this,
in the primary feed (T2) upstream of the hydraulic shunt
the
heat quantity measurement
must be activated in secondary
pumps
For this purpose, connect temperature sensors to the analogue inputs AI3 and AI4.
. The
feeder pump must
measure temperatures in
secondary feed
(T1) and
primary feed (T2)
.
Select "Switched on" by turning the operating button and press to confirm.
Multi-Flow Adaptation
The temperature sensors on the feeder pump must then be configured on the analogue in-
takes into account 3-way
mixers for
consumer circuit pumps. For this
puts AI3 and AI4. To do this, select the temperature sensor T1 for the temperature of the
, the
heat quantity measurement
secondary feed in the "Set control mode" menu.
must be activated for affected
consumer circuit pumps.
In this way, the analogue input AI3 is automatically configured to signal type PT1000 and
used as the actual temperature value T1.
Setting sensor 1
for controls that require
a temperature sensor
Proceed in the same way with the temperature sensor T2 on analogue input AI4.
.
Select sensor source
that provides the actual value for
the
current control mode
.
After these adjustments, Multi-Flow Adaptation is activated with the additional control
function "Multi-Flow Adaptation mixer".
All control modes, which are selected via the setting assistant, can be overridden with the
functions of manual operation OFF, MIN, MAX, MANUAL.
Manual operation functions can be selected in the menu
tion"
"Manual operation (OFF, MIN, MAX, MANUAL)"
Installation and operating instructions • Wilo-Stratos GIGA2.0-I, Wilo-Stratos GIGA2.0-D • Ed.02/2022-07
NOTICE
In order to determine the mixed volume flow, the heat quantity measure-
ment function with a connected temperature sensor in the secondary feed
and secondary return must always be activated on the secondary pumps
with mixer.
NOTICE
Only the analogue inputs AI3 and AI4 of the Stratos GIGA2.0 can process
signal type PT1000.
DANGER
The pump can start despite the "OFF" function
The "OFF" function is not a safety function and is no replacement for
disconnecting the power supply for maintenance work. Functions such as
pump kick can start up the pump despite the "OFF" function being set.
• Always disconnect the pump from the power supply before carrying
out any work!
