FRONT WHEEL
R
EMOVAL
• Place the motorcycle on the centre stand;
• Position a support under the motorcycle to lift the front
wheel off the ground;
• undo screws "A" that secure the brake calipers to the
fork, and remove the calipers "B" together with their
hoses;
• undo nut "C" left hand side spindle pinch
• loosen fork spindle pinch screws "E";
• withdraw spindle "F", noting how spacers "D" are fit-
ted;
• remove the front wheel from the front fork legs.

EASSEMBLY
• After carrying out all necessary wheel checks, reas-
semble as follows:
• Place the complete wheel between the fork legs;
• Lubricate the shank and thread of the wheel spindle
with the recommended grease.
• Position the spacer "D", insert the spindle fully home
in the wheel hub and tighten the nut "C" manually;
• Tighten the 2 screws "E" to the prescribed torque;
• Secure the spindle "F" by tightening the nut "C" to the
specified torque;
• Refit the brake callipers;
• Check that the discs run freely inside the callipers and
then operate the brake lever repeatedly to bring the
calliper pistons to their regular position.
