6.4. GRAVITY PISTON DISASSEMBLE (only gravity machine)
To disassemble the gravity piston proceed as follows:
1. Remove piston pos. 1
2. Unscrew fixed stem pos. 2
3. Wash all components in the dishwasher or manually
4. Assemble all the components by reverse operation of disassembling.
6.5. BEATER DISASSEMBLY (for monobloc model)
1. After disassembling the door, proceed to disassemble the beater.
2. Remove the beater by pulling it gently outward, taking care not to damage it.

Do the operation with great care, as a possible dropping of the beater may damage it.

3. Remove the stuffing box pos. 2 from its seat on the beater and check its wear condition.
4. Wash all the parts in water, lubricate the stuffing box with food grease and refit all
disassembled parts.

6.5.1 Stuffing box checking

When disassembling the stuffing box, check for any defects. If this does not occur, after
washing the stuffing box and properly greased, it can be reused.
If, instead, at the end of the distribution you find traces of ice cream inside the drip tray, it is
recommended to replace the stuffing box because it is most likely to be worn out and leaks.
