Temporary data

The following data are not stored on the EEPROM and are
therefore reset to the default values after a restart/reset.

After switching on or after a restart of the read/write head,
the current transmitting power is taken from the parameter
Transmitting power on read (default). Depending on the
requirements, the transmitting power can be temporarily
changed via the parameter Transmitting power on read
(current). The setting is retained until it is changed again or
the read/write head is restarted.
The set transmitting power is used for read operation.
The desired power in quarter dBm is applied as the
parameter value.
Parameter value = P(dBm) × 4
Adjustable power:
−9...+16 dBmERP
(corresponds to 0.125...40 mW)

The highest possible antenna power depends on the device variant.

be understood as ERP values (Equivalent
Radiated Power) or EIRP values (Equivalent
Isotropically Radiated Power). The respective

If a password-protected data carrier is to be accessed, the
data carrier can be unlocked for further interaction using
the Access password parameter. The password must be
transferred in LSB first format.
If no data carriers with different passwords are in use, it is
sufficient to send the parameter once to the read/write
head. The password remains stored in the read/write head
until the read/write head is restarted.
