8.7.15 Command identifier 0x59: Detect and read
data carriers, extended (Tag List Extended)
The command Extended read of multiple data carriers
reads, depending on the type configured, the EPC or the
TID of all data carriers that are in the active read/write
range of the antenna.
In addition, the RSSI of the corresponding tag is
transmitted.
(Comparable to command Read multiple data carriers with
additional RSSI information).

data is present.
If the EPCs are transmitted with the length 12 bytes, the
response in the input buffer looks as follows:

description
Number of tags found.
The maximum number
of tags in the active
area of the antenna is
limited to ten. If an 11
is reported in this field,
more tags have been
detected and there
may be more tags in
the field of the
antenna.
64. This corresponds
to the length of the
longest transmitted
EPC parameterized in
the device. EPCs
shorter than this length
are output right-
justified and filled with
zeros on the left. For
64 bytes per EPC, the
actual EPC length in
ASCII is specified in
the 1st and 2nd byte of
the EPC. In addition,
8 bytes of data are
transferred per tag,
which contain
additional information.
Subsequently,
(Number of data
carriers read) x
((Number of bytes per
EPC) + 8) bytes are
thus transferred.
