Additional safety information
▪ Please read the operating instructions and all other instructions thoroughly before using the 8-in-1
multi-functional cooker. Improper use can result in damage.
▪ Caution! This appliance cooks food under pressure. Make sure that the appliance is properly
closed before you heat it up. Inappropriate use can result in burns. Never try to force open
the lid of the appliance. Pressure could escape explosively and lead to injury and material damage
from hot steam and liquids. Always first let the pressure escape from the oven chamber (7) before
opening the lid (3). Use the methods for reducing the pressure described in the operating
instructions.
▪ Caution! Even when the lid (3) is correctly closed and locked into place, hot steam may escape
from the valve in the lid during operation and for some minutes after it is switched off. Never
put your hands, arms or face over the appliance during its operation or shortly afterwards,
to avoid burns from steam, hot water or food. Hot condensation may build up in the steam
valve (1), condensate gutter (8), condensate container (13) and under the lid (3), and/or drip down
when the lid is opened. Large quantities of steam under the lid may also escape when it is opened.
Always keep enough distance to avoid burns when you open the lid.
▪ Caution! Never put liquids or food directly into the oven chamber (7), only in the removable
pan (6). Do not operate the appliance if there are liquids in the oven chamber (7). This could
cause electric shock. Always switch the appliance off immediately and pull the mains plug if
liquids are overflowing.
▪ Caution! The heating element in the oven chamber (7) remains hot for a certain time after
the appliance has been switched off.
