Dopo ever visivamente identificato il
tratto di catena dove questo fenomeno è
più evidente, con un calibro deve essere
rilevata l'altezza effettiva dell'occhiello
delle piastre e confrontata con quella ini-
ziale.
Vengono fissati questi limiti di usura
massima (fare riferimento G1A):
Consumo su un solo lato:
[(H-H1):H]x100 ≤ 2%
Consumo su due lati:
[(H-H2):H]x100 ≤ 3,5%
Le elevate pressioni specifiche tra profi-
lo piastre e pulegge possono causare,
oltre che usura, anche rifollamento di
materiale sullo spigolo delle piastre che
può dar luogo ad articolazioni bloccate.
Se si riscontrano articolazioni bloccate,
la catena deve essere sostituita (consul-
tare il concessionario di zona).

Questa usura è causata da una impro-
pria interazione della catena con le
pulegge o altri elementi di guida laterale.
Lo
sfregamento laterale sulle pulegge può
essere indotto a carichi disassati o da
pulegge e/o dispositivi di aggancio non
allineati.
L'usura sulle testate dei perni non deve
compromettere la tenuta di questi sulla
piastra, per evitare che questa possa
sfilarsi.
L'usura sul bordo della piastra crea
indebolimento della stessa.
Nel caso che si riscontri un consumo
sulla testata dei perni oltre il 25% della
sporgenza di ribattitura o sul fianco
esterno delle piastre oltre il 20% dello
spessore (fare riferimento G1A), la cate-
na deve essere sostituita e, prima di
applicare la nuova, va ricercata la causa
di questo malfunzionamento.
Consumo % testata perno:
(R1:R)x100 ≤ 25%
Consumo % bordo piastra:
(S1:S)x100 ≤ 20%
Se si riscontrano usure eccessive, la
catena deve essere sostituita (consulta-
re il concessionario di zona).

After visually identifying the section of
chain where this phenomenon is most
noticeable, a gauge must be used to
measure the actual height of the plate
eye, which must then be compared with
the initial measurement.
These maximum wear limits are set
(refer to G1A):
Wear on one side only:
[(H-H1):H]x100 ≤ 2%
Wear on both sides:
[(H-H2):H]x100 ≤ 3,5%
The high specific pressures between the
plate profile and pulleys may cause not
just wear but also the upsetting of mate-
rial on the edges of the plates, which
may cause jammed articulations.
If jammed articulations are noted, the
chain must be replaced (consult your
local dealer).

This wear is caused by improper
interaction between the chain and the
pulleys or the other side guide elements.
Side rubbing on the pulleys may be due
to off-centre loads or misaligned pulleys
and/or connection devices.
Wear on the heads of the pins must not
impair their grip on the plate; otherwise,
the plate, may become detached.
Wear on the edge of the plate weakens
it.
If wear on the heads of the pins in
excess of 25% of the riveting thickness
or on the outside of the plates in excess
of 20% of the thickness is noted (refer to
G1A), the chain must be replaced; befo-
re fitting the new chain, find out the rea-
son for this malfunction.
Pin head wear %:
(R1:R)x100 ≤ 25%
Plate edge wear %:
(S1:S)x100 ≤ 20%
If excessive wear is detected, the chain
must be replaced (consult your local
dealer).

auf Abnutzung
Nach einer eingehenden Sichtkontrolle
der Kette und der Plattenprofile (H), mit
einer Schieblehre an der schwästen
Stelle die Prüfung beginnen.
Prüfung an mehreren Abschnitten wie-
derholen
Folgende Werte für die max. Abnutzung
: Siehe Bild "G1/A
Abnutzung nur auf einer seite:
[(H-H1):H]x100 ≤ 2%
Abnutzung auf beiden seiten:
[(H-H2):H]x100 ≤ 3,5%
Der hohe spezifische Druck zwischen
dem Plattenprofil und den Kettenrollen
kannaußer zu Abnutzung auch zu
Abplatzen von Material an den Kanten
der Platten führen, was zum Blockieren
der Gelenkeführen kann. Falls blockierte
Gelenkefestgestellt werden, muß die
Ketteausgewechselt werden
(wenden Sie sich an Ihren
Vertragshändler).

Abnutzung prüfen.
Diese Abnutzung wird durch eine unsa-
chgemäße Wechselwirkung von Kette
und Kettenrollen oder sonstigen
seitlichen Führungselementen verursa-
cht.
Der seitliche Abrieb an den
Kettenrollen und Ketten kann durch
nicht ausgerichtete Kettenrollen, nicht
mittige Last und/oder
mechanischer Mißbrauch verursacht
werden.
Die Abnutzung der Kettenbolzen(S) darf
die Befestigung der Platten
nicht beeinträchtigen. Die Abnutzung an
den Flanken der Kettenglieder (R) führt
zu einer Schwächung der Ketten.
Falls eine Abnutzung an den
Kettenbolzen (S) festgestellt wird, die
20% überschreitet, oder an den
Kettengliedern (R)
25% der Dicke (siehe Bild G1/A) über-
steigt, so muss die Kette
ausgewechselt werden und vor der
Montage einer neuen Kette muss die
Ursache der Funktionsstörung behoben
werden.

Falls eine zu starke Abnutzung festge-
stelltwird, so muss die Kette ausgewe-
chseltwerden (wenden Sie sich an Ihren
