6.3.4 I/O interface for MultiControl II duo/quadro

The
MultiControl II control using discrete digital inputs (e.g. from a PLC). The
I/O interface module (see Figure 7) forwards both the digital inputs as
a command to the MultiControl II and the responses from the control to the digital
outputs. The I/O interface module transmits the serial RS485 interface of the MultiControl
II to the digital inputs and outputs in both directions.
Connection to MultiControl II
The I/O interface can be connected to the MultiControl II using the included Control
BUS cable. To do so, the cores of the Control BUS cable must be connected to the
terminals of the I/O interface as shown in the following table:

Power supply Logic GND
Insert the Control-BUS cable's plug into the "HS" connection socket of the MultiControl
II. The I/O interface is connected to the MultiControl II.
