Setting the external stop

There is the option of connecting a stop input switch to the MultiControl II.
Connect the stop input switch to the DATA interface between sensor input 4 and
12 VDC. Sensor input 4 is high-active, so that when the "Stop input" function
is activated, 12V DC must be applied to sensor input 4 through the stop input
switch to activate movement of the drives. If the stop input switch is actuated
during movement of the drives, they are stopped as quickly as possible. After
resetting the stop input switch, movement is possible again.
You can activate or deactivate the function via menu item "Control" → "Stop
functions" → "Set external stop". This function is deactivated in the delivery
state.

Synchronisation bus (Sync-BUS)

The following steps are only possible with a hand switch with 6 functions keys
and display.
You can interconnect up to eight controls using the lead. In this way, you can
increase the number of drives columns moved synchronously.

If several controls are operated at the same time, the
safety shutdown function must only be used on the master
control.
If drive group management is activated, the "Set external
stop" function affects both drive groups, i.e. all connected
drives.
Only connect controls with the same software and
hardware versions (see chapter 6.7.2)!
The Sync BUS function cannot be activated when drive
group management is activated.
