CHARGING THE RANGE EXTENDER

Completely charge the Range Extender before using it for the first time.
To extend battery life, charge the Range Extender as soon as possible after use.
Avoid leaving the charger continuously connected to the battery for long periods of time and monitor the charging of the bat-
tery so that you can disconnect the charger if you detect any anomaly such as smoke, a burning smell or fire. The RS smart
charger is designed to stop the charging process when the battery is completely charged. This prevents damage to the cells
and means you can charge the battery worry-free. However, it is always advisable to supervise the charging process to pre-
vent damage if the charger does not operate properly.
Lithium batteries are temperature-sensitive during the charging process. Always follow the charging, discharging and storage
temperature ranges included in the Range Extender technical specifications table.

Plug the Smart Charger Gen2 into a socket. The charger
LED will flash blue when the charger is not connected to
the battery

The charger's LED will light up in steady blue for 2 seconds
and will then start to turn on and gradually fade off in a
cyclical manner until the battery is fully charged. While the
Range Extender is charging, the battery charge indicator
LEDs will show the current charge level. The flashing LED
shows the percentage (in 25% segments) that is being
charged.

Connect the charger to the Range Extender, correctly aligning
the charging port's pins with the pins on the charger's connector.

When the battery is fully charged, the LED on the charger will
light up again in steady blue. You can check the charge level of
the Range Extender by pressing the power button.
Disconnect the charger from the charging port by carefully
pulling on the charger connector.
