SPEED SENSOR. COMPATIBLE BRAKE DISCS AND MAGNETS

To replace the speed sensor you do not need to remove the swingarm. You will need to remove the motor to access the con-
nections and disconnect/connect the speed sensor (see the Motor Attachment and Motor Housing Cabling sections of this
manual). Open the Cable Pass port on the left chainstay so you can route the new sensor cable through the Cable Pass tube to
the motor area.
COMPATIBILITY OF REAR DISC BRAKES
The EW-SS301 speed sensor mounted on Rise is designed for the use of rear brake discs with magnet integrated into the disc
spider.
6-BOLT DISCS: The vast majority of 6-bolt discs without an integrated magnet are compatible with the use of the Orbea X240
magnet. 6-bolt discs with magnet integrated into the spider are compatible.
CENTERLOCK ROTORS: The EW-SS301 speed sensor is only compatible with discs with the magnet mounted on the spider.
Brake discs without the magnet in the spider, where the magnet is integrated into the Centerlock fixing nut, are not compatible.
