Remove the bolts and washers securing the motor to the frame
using a 6 mm Allen key.

Disconnect the cable from the battery to the motor and the
speed sensor cables, the one that goes to the cockpit and the
one from the Di2 derailleur (in assemblies with an electronic
derailleur).

Remove the bolts and washers securing the internal battery to
the downtube.

Carefully remove the motor from the frame to avoid
damaging the cables.

Remove the upper motor attachment bushings. Remember,
when re-installing the bushings when installing the motor,
the battery connection cable must be routed over the left
bushing to allow the motor to be installed.

Pull on the battery cable loop to remove the battery from the
downtube, until the battery cable connector is easily
accessible. Disconnect the battery cable by turning the
locking ring to the left and pulling on the connector.
