1. Route the rear brake, dropper seatpost, shock ab-
sorber and derailleur lines (if using mechanical drive-
trains) and bring them out through the top of the
head tube.
The parts cabled through the headset vary ac-
cording to the specific assembly. See the pre-
vious sections of this manual for details of the
components cabled
headset.
2. Apply and spread assembly grease to the frame
housings and upper and lower head tube bearings
and install them into the frame, guiding the brake
and derailleur lines through them.
3. Insert the fork. With the lower crown race already in-
stalled, in the steerer tube and having previously in-
stalled the starnut (or the expander in forks with
carbon steerer tube) of fixing the stem preload screw
in the fork steerer tube .
4. Install the compression ring by routing the brake
lines and derailleur sheaths, etc. through the cabling
channels and directing them toward their mounting
location on the handlebar. Next, install the headset
cap.
The parts cabled through the headset vary according
to the specific assembly. See the previous sections
of this manual for details of the components cabled
through the HS02 headset.
5. Fit the SIC manifold. If using specific OC stems, the
HS02–05 manifold with a specific profile must be fit-
ted. To install standard stems, the HS02–06 univer-
sal manifold must be used (see the spare parts
section of this manual).
