CONNECTING OTHER ASSEMBLY OPTIONS
· Assemblies with SC-EN600 display and Di2 electronic drivetrain
· Assemblies without display and Di2 electronic drivetrain
· Assemblies without display and mechanical drivetrain (non-Di2)
For these assembly options it is necessary to create a free connection point to connect the entire system to the SM-PCE2
interface.
To do this, disconnect the Di2 SD300 cable from the SW-EN600-L switch unit and use a Shimano EW-JC304 four-port connector
and an extra SD300 cable of any length to create a free port in the system. Connect the EW-SD300 PC-Link cable to the free port
of the EW-JC304 connector, and this connector to the SM-PCE2 interface.
INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC DRIVETRAINS AND BIKES WITH MECHANICAL CONFIGURATION AS
STANDARD
If an electric bike with an EP801/EP6 motor that was originally fitted by Orbea with a mechanical transmission, the derailleur is
replaced with a Di2 compatible electronic derailleur, you need to change the configuration of the bike for it to recognise the new
components. If you do not change the configuration, the system will alert you of a component error when starting the bike and
will not provide electrical assistance.
This configuration change cannot be done by a user nor by a distributor connecting the bike to the Etube Cyclist or Professional
respectively. The distributor must contact Orbea or Shimano to remotely make the configuration change to the bike..

The Orbea Gen2 internal battery is visible as part of the Shimano EP801/EP6S system when the system is connected to Etube
Professional using the Shimano SM-PCE02 diagnostic tool
You can use the SM-PCE02 diagnostic tool, to access relevant information about the battery, such as the firmware version and
charging cycles, under the Maintenance tab.
The Orbea Gen2 internal batteries are not diagnosable using E-Tube Professional. If there is a problem with the electrical sys-
tem, use E-Tube Professional to check that the problem is not in some other Shimano component of the electrical system.
Contact Shimano to provide a system report through a claim. If Shimano informs you that the problem is related to the internal
battery, contact Orbea via a claim.
