ELECTRICAL ASSIST SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Installation of power assist system components requires advanced knowledge and may be beyond the skill of most users.
Always go to an official dealer for the diagnosis, repair and installation of the components of the bike's electrical system.
Damage to components resulting from incorrect installation could void the warranty on those components

COMPONENT CONNECTION DIAGRAM

The cabling configuration on the handlebars and inside the stem changes depends on the mounting option with or without a Shi-
mano display and with mechanical or electronic drivetrain (see the Cabling section of this manual). All assemblies use a 1200 mm
EW-SD300 cable from the Shimano EP801 motor. The Shimano EP801 motor uses a Di2/STEPS EW-SD300 wiring standard. See
the images in this section for the components used, as well as the wiring of each component, for each option type. See the cabling
section of this manual to find the routing of the electrical system cables in the frame, stem and handlebars.
