LINKAGE AND SHOCK ABSORBER AREA
Rise SL and LT share the same two-piece linkage with a specific yoke for each of the assemblies (SL or LT) providing different
characteristics between the two models. The Rise Hydro SL damping system uses an aluminium yoke to achieve 140 mm of rear
travel, giving it a fast trail geometry and suspension system.
Rise LT uses an aluminium yoke to achieve 150 mm rear travel (air or spring) allowing a bold geometry to attack the most difficult
trails. Furthermore, for Rise LT, the Quick Flip installed on the shock absorber yoke fixing lets you change between High and Low
geometries in a few seconds, to adapt the bicycle to the route you have in mind. See the "geometry" section to find out about the
geometry changes between the two options.
1.
Apply assembly grease to the bearing housings on the frame and the spacer.
Fit one of the bearings in the spacer housing. Using a bearing press, insert the
spacer and bearing assembly from the left side, and the other bearing from the
right side.
2.
Apply grease to the outside of both bearings and position the seals, making
sure that the flat part of the seal is the one that comes into contact with the
bearing. On the right side, position the O-ring as shown in the detail view and
then insert the bushing.
3.
Apply assembly grease to the body and head of the thru-axle and medium-
strength threadlock to the threads. Insert it and tighten to the indicated
tightening torque (20 Nm). Next, apply medium strength threadlock to the left
chainstay fixing bolt and tighten it to 6 Nm
