The 8mm gate features adjustable aperture shutters
To help make adjustments, there are white reference lines on the top face of the gate indicating
the alignment for each film gauge. These reference lines are for guidance as film can have
shrinkage or camera aperture variations, final refinement can be performed by loading a film
sample and monitoring the local HDMI display or DaVinci Resolve preview.
