ADJUSTING INTRODUCER HOLDER NEEDLE PATH ANGLE
1. Loosen introducer locking knob by turning counter-clockwise approximately one full turn. Do not remove
knob from guide tower.
2. Adjust angle of introducer holder to desired angle.
3. If desired, lock angle of needle path by turning introducer locking knob clockwise until secure. Do not
overtighten.
Straight Path
USING NEEDLE GUIDE
1. Select needle path height and ensure introducer holder is locked into position.
2. Position transducer with needle guide attached against patient's perineal skin for initial prostate biopsy.
3. Insert introducer needle into introducer holder and push needle forward to puncture perineal skin. Position
needle to desired depth in subcutaneous tissue.
4. Perform biopsy procedure, adjusting introducer needle path height, angle, and introducer insertion depth as
necessary to collect all biopsies required from puncture site.
5. Remove introducer needle from introducer holder.
6. Repeat as required at additional positions for prostate biopsy.
DISASSEMBLING AND REMOVING NEEDLE GUIDE
1. Loosen transducer clamping knob by turning counter-clockwise. Pull guide to remove from transducer.
