ADJUSTING NEEDLE GUIDE
1. Determine desired starting needle path height for procedure.
2. Loosen introducer locking knob by turning counter-clockwise approximately one full turn. Do not remove
knob from guide tower.
3. Pull introducer holder out of current height position.
4. Move introducer holder up or down to desired needle path height.
5. Push introducer holder into desired needle path height.
6. Tighten introducer locking knob by turning clockwise until introducer holder is securely locked in a
horizontal position using alignment detents.
NOTE: Do not remove introducer holder from guide tower.
NOTE: Introducer needle path height and angle adjustments may be made as required during the procedure.
ASSEMBLING INTRODUCER NEEDLE TO NEEDLE GUIDE
1. Using proper sterile technique, remove introducer needle from packaging and remove tip guard from
introducer needle.
2. Position needle guide for initial introducer needle placement.
3. Insert introducer needle into introducer holder to desired depth of puncture.
NOTE: Some resistance to introducer needle insertion will be noticed at insertion distance immediately
preceding puncture depth. Depth is approximately indicated by depth mark on introducer needle.
NOTE: Introducer needle insertion depth may be adjusted during procedure.
NOTE: Introducer needle accepts 18GA biopsy needles.
Depth mark indicates approximate insertion
distance prior to puncture.
