6. Insert the foam element into
the air filter case.
NOTICE
The engine should never run
without the foam element; ex-
cessive piston and cylinder
wear may result.
TIP
Be sure the foam element sealing
surface matches the air filter so
there is no air leak.
7. Install the air filter case cover
in its original position and
tighten the screw.
8. Install the cover and tighten
the screws.

WARNING
The engine and muffler will be
very hot after the engine has
been run.

Avoid touching the engine and
muffler while they are still hot
with any part of your body or
clothing during inspection or
repair.
1. Remove the muffler cover
screws, and then remove the
muffler cover.

6. Insérez l'élément en mousse
dans le boîtier de filtre à air.
Le moteur ne peut jamais tour-
ner sans l'élément en mousse,
faute de quoi vous risquez de
provoquer une usure excessive
du piston et du cylindre.
N.B.
Assurez-vous que la surface d'étan-
chéité de l'élément en mousse
s'adapte sur le filtre à air de maniè-
re à ce qu'il n'y ait pas de fuite
d'air.
7. Installez le couvercle du boîtier
de filtre à air dans sa position
originale et serrez la vis.
8. Installez le couvercle et serrez
les vis.

pare-étincelles
Le moteur et le pot d'échappe-
ment sont brûlants après que le
moteur a tourné.
Ne touchez pas le moteur ni le
pot d'échappement avec une par-
tie de votre corps ou de vos vête-
ments s'ils sont encore brûlants
lors des travaux d'inspection ou
de réparation.
1. Retirez la vis du couvercle du
silencieux, puis retirez le cou-
vercle du silencieux.
