NOTICE
9 Be sure the economy con-
trol switch is turned off
while charging the battery.
9 Be sure to connect the red
battery charger lead to the
positive (+) battery terminal,
and connect the black lead
to the negative (–) battery
terminal. Do not reverse
these positions.
9 Connect the battery charger
leads to the battery termi-
nals securely so that they
are not disconnected due to

engine vibration or other
disturbances.
9 Charge the battery in the
correct procedure by fol-

lowing instructions in the
owner's manual for the bat-

tery.
9 The DC protector or DC
switch (N.F.B.) turns

(OFF) automatically if cur-
rent above the rated flows
during battery charging.
To restart charging the bat-
tery, turn the DC protector
or DC switch (N.F.B.) to
"I" (ON). If the DC protector
or DC switch (N.F.B.) turns
"3" (OFF) again, stop

Assurez-vous que le contac-
teur de ralenti économique
est désactivé pendant que
vous chargez la batterie.

Veillez à connecter le fil du
chargeur de batterie rouge sur
la borne positive (+) de la bat-
terie et le fil noir sur la borne
négative (–) de la batterie.
N'inversez pas ces positions.

Connectez correctement les
fils du chargeur de batterie
aux bornes de la batterie de
façon à ce qu'ils ne se décon-
nectent pas en raison des vi-
brations du moteur
d'autres interférences.

Chargez la batterie selon la
procédure correcte en sui-
vant les instructions mention-
nées dans le manuel de l'utili-
sateur de la batterie.

La protection CC ou le
contacteur CC (rupteur sans
fusible) passe sur
(ARRÊT) automatiquement
si le courant nominal ci-des-
sus s'écoule pendant toute la
durée du chargement.
Pour redémarrer le charge-
ment de la batterie, mettez la
protection CC ou le contac-
teur CC (rupteur sans fu-
sible) sur
(MARCHE). Si la protection
CC ou le contacteur CC
(rupteur sans fusible) passe

sur « » (ARRÊT) à
nouveau, arrêtez le charge-
ment de la batterie immédia-
tement et contactez
concessionnaire Yamaha.
