5.1 Transportation in a Wheelchair Accessible
Vehicle
WARNING
Risk of accidents and injury due to improper
use for transportation in a wheelchair accessible vehi-
cle. Use in a wheelchair accessible vehicle is not permissi-
ble if the following options are used:
n Recaro n-Joy, Recaro n-Joy-Plus or modular Recaro
seating system nn
n 94 Ah (C5) gel batteries nn
n The maximum load capacity is limited to 100 kg.
WARNING
Risk of accident and injury due to improper use for trans-
portation in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.The power
wheelchair may only be used for transportation in a
wheelchair accessible vehicle if the safety components
(such as lap belt) which are offered by Ottobock and suita-
ble restraint systems are used.
Only one person may be transported in the C1000 DS at
any one time. For optimum protection of the occupants in
C1000 DS
