Safety instructions
NOTICE
Risk of damage due to improper use of the seat adjust-
ment functions. The C1000 DS power wheelchair may be
equipped with seat height adjustment, back angle adjust-
ment and seat tilt functions. The following particularities
must be observed during operation:
n The seat function actuators are not intended for con-
tinuous use but only for short-term limited operation
(10 % use, 90 % idle time). General recommendation:
At maximum load capacity, 10 seconds of operation
should be followed by 90 seconds of idle time. The
electric seat functions are considered independently of
the driving function for this purpose.
n The maximum load capacity of the seat with seat
height adjustment function is 130 or 200 kg.
n The seat height adjustment function may not be oper-
ated in case of errors or malfunctions.
n If creep speed is not activated when the seat height
adjustment function is operated, please visit a special-
ist dealer immediately. The C1000 DS power wheel-
chair may only be used with the seat in its lowest posi-
tion until the problem is corrected.

NOTICE
Risk of damage due to excessive heat or cold. The
C1000 DS can only be operated in the temperature range
from -25 °C to +50 °C. It must not be operated at tempera-
tures outside this range.
NOTICE
Risk of damage due to overloading / excessive strain.
The maximum load capacity for the standard version of the
C1000 DS power wheelchair is 140 kg. It is possible to
have the power wheelchair retrofitted for a maximum load
capacity of 200 kg. If the power wheelchair is equipped
with a seat height adjustment unit, the maximum load ca-
pacity is 130 kg, optional 200 kg.
NOTICE
Damage to tyres due to excessive tyre pressure. Do not
exceed the tyre pressure specified in Section 10 "Technical
Data".
