6.3.2 Separate LCD monitor

A separate LCD monitor with infrared and Bluetooth (op-
tional) is available to operate special controls and for envi-
ronment control functions. Please see Section 7.9.1 for
more information.

6.3.3 Switching on and off

WARNING
Danger to life due to lack of brake functionality. Please
note that the wheel lock release lever must be locked prior
to operating the power wheelchair. The automatic wheel
lock must be operational and functional.
CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to incorrect tyre pressure. Visually
inspect the tyres of the power wheelchair for sufficient
tread depth and sufficient tyre pressure before each use.
Incorrect tire pressure reduces the life of the tyres and im-
pairs the driving characteristics.
C1000 DS
The control unit of the power wheelchair is switched on and
off by pressing the On/Off button (see Figure 18, item 5). If
the control unit is not used for a certain period of time, which
is adjustable, the wheelchair is switched off automatically. It
is also possible to switch off the power wheelchair with the
On/Off button while driving. In this case, the wheelchair
brakes immediately until it stops.
INFORMATION
Under the parameter settings, the specialist dealer can
establish the default speed level or menu for the power
wheelchair after it is turned on according to the wishes of
the user.

6.3.4 Driving function

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled operation of the po-
wer wheelchair. Switch off the control unit on the power
wheelchair whenever you do not need the driving func-
tion. This will prevent you from unintentionally activating
the joystick.
