6.3.7 Drive-away lock

INFORMATION
The drive-away lock can only be activated in the manner
described below if the "Drive-away lock" parameter is set
to "On". At the factory, the drive-away lock parameter is
set to „Off". The factory setting may be set to "On" by the
specialist dealer or at the factory according to the order.
Please ask your specialist dealer about the setting selec-
ted for your wheelchair.
The control unit of the C1000 DS power wheelchair features
an electric drive-away lock to disable the driving function.
Activation via control panel
1. With the control unit turned on, press and hold the
mode button for at least 5 seconds.
2. A short beep confirms activation of the drive-away lock
(if the feature that returns a beep with each push of a
button is activated, then the second beep confirms acti-
vation of the drive-away lock).
3. The control unit is turned off automatically.
Activation of the drive-away lock is indicated by the key sym-
bol on the display.

Activation via separate LCD monitor
When using one of the special controls, the drive-away lock
is activated via the separate LCD monitor. Select the menu
item „Drive-away lock" in the menu „Settings". Activation is
confirmed with an acoustic signal and the control unit is
switched off.
