CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to unsecured screw connections.
When screw connections with thread locks are loosened,
they must be replaced with new ones or secured with a medi-
um-strength liquid thread lock substance (e.g. Loctite 241®.
After the power wheelchair has been set and adjusted, the
attachment screws and/or nuts must be firmly retightened.
Observe the applicable torque specifications.

Only original options provided by the manufacturer may be
used. The optional components may only be mounted as
described here. Failure to comply will void the warranty.
INFORMATION

The C1000 DS power wheelchair has been designed as a
modular system. Certain component groups can be ex-
changed and other accessories can be added.

additional electrical functions as well as customised input
devices.

Electric Seat Functions

7.1.1 Safety Instructions

The power wheelchair can be equipped with a range of op-
tional electric seat functions.
WARNING
Risk of falling while driving with electric seat options.
n Drive in street traffic only with the seat tilt and seat
height adjustments lowered and with a vertical back-
rest.
n Drive with the seat raised or with the seat tilt/back an-
gle adjustment activated only for short distances at
home. Always use the speed level 1 for this. Note that
the field of vision is limited when driving.
