Defect/failure

A defect represents a serious failure of a system compo-
nent. A failure is the most serious type of malfunction, which
causes an immediate emergency stop of the system.
Defects / failures are shown by a continuous sequential light
indicator with an audible signal.
After the malfunction has been corrected, the system is re-
activated by restarting it.

INFORMATION
A spare parts catalogue for ordering spare parts is available
from Ottobock upon request. Only original Ottobock re-
placement and wear parts must be used. Failure to comply
with this requirement will render the warranty null and void.
INFORMATION
Should you encounter problems during maintenance, contact
your specialist dealer. The operational safety power wheel-
chair is to be checked once a year by a specialist dealer.

Maintenance intervals

The correct functionality of the power wheelchair must be
checked prior to each use. The items listed in Table 7 must
be checked by the user at the indicated intervals.
