7.1.3 Electric Seat Tilt

WARNING
Risk of falling due to incorrect seat tilt handling
n Use the seat tilt adjustment feature only with the back-
rest in the upright position.
n Drive in street traffic only with the seat tilt lowered.
n When driving with the seat tilt activated, fasten the
belts (lap belt, four-point belt) and do not lean out be-
yond the seat surface with the seat raised.

The power wheelchair can be equipped with an electric seat
tilt function. The electric seat tilt function allows the seat to
be tilted, for example to relieve pressure.
The electric seat tilt feature is available in the following ver-
sions:
n Electric seat tilt up to 30°
n Electric seat tilt up to 45°
For more information on the specific equipment of this power
wheelchair, contact the qualified personnel.
The seat can be tilted back continuously to the angle speci-
fied above.
It is controlled by the joystick in "additional function" mode
or by the push button module. The power wheelchair has an
integrated feature that shifts the centre of gravity and serves
to improve stability against tipping.
