installation checks before using LPG, see section 12. Installation checks.
5.13 LPG connection
Remove the protective cap from the gas pipe on the boiler
(Fig. 18).
Use 8 mm copper or steel pipes with clamp couplings to
connect LPG to the boiler gas connection. When installing
the pipes, remember that all joints and connections must be
easily accessible, and that the boiler must be removable for
service.
• The gas connection to the boiler must have an easily
accessible separate shut-off tap.
• Connect the boiler to the gas bottle with a type-approved
reduction valve, with pressure of 30 mbar.
For extra safety, we recommend using Alde's Type 4071 leak tester,
installed as closely to the reduction valve as possible.
6. Installation of Control Panel 3030112
The 3030 112 control panel (red) is intended for the Alde Compact 3030/3030 Plus boiler.
The control panel should be located at a height of at least 1 metre above the floor, but not too close
to the ceiling. Neither should it be placed on an outer wall, or near other heat-emitting objects such as
CD player, fridge and lights, which can affect the temperature. The space behind the panel should be
well-ventilated.
If the room thermostat on the panel is affected, an external sensor should be connected to the panel.
1. Make holes for the control panel according to Fig. 19, item 3). Connect the panel to the boiler
according to Fig. 20, page 49).
2. Screw the control panel securely in place, and press the front. Clamp the wiring harness securely
to avoid strain on the panel terminal block.
