5.5 Installing an intake/exhaust hose
Hose length for roof flue: min. 2.0 m and max. 3.5 m.
Hose length for wall flue: min. 0.5 m and max. 2 m.
• Measure out and cut to length the intake hose (75 mm dia.).
Cut the exhaust hose (50 mm dia.) approx. 50 mm longer than the intake hose when the hose length
is over 1 m.
The hoses must fit approx. 20 mm into the pipe sleeves.
• Insert the exhaust hose into the intake hose.
Install the exhaust gas first (Fig. 7, item 5) on the flue, secure with a hose clamp (Fig. 7, item 6).
Then insert the extract hose (Fig. 7, item 7) and secure with the second hose clip (Fig. 7, item 8).
Follow the same procedure to install the hoses on the boiler.
• Clamp the hose (Fig. 7, item 9) with c/c 600 mm, or equivalent.
• Check that the hose clamps are fitted correctly.
CAUTION
Check hose routing, to prevent water accumulating in the intake/exhaust hose.

5.6 Installing an expansion tank
• Install the expansion tank min. 200 mm higher than the highest point
on the system. Leave a gap of min. 220 mm above the expansion tank
for filling and service. Use the screws and support sleeves provided for
installation.
• Install the vent hose (Fig. 10, item 1) vertically and clamp securely to
prevent kinks forming.
• Install the drain hose (Fig. 10, item 2) to achieve the shortest route from
the expansion tank and through the vehicle floor.
Cut the hose at an angle of 30° from the direction of travel under the
vehicle, (Fig. 9).
