5. Installing the system

The heating system can generate dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) when using LPG as fuel, if not
correctly installed and/or used.
CAUTION
Never install the system under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medicines, and always follow the
safety instructions carefully.

Beware of hot surfaces when the system is in use.
5.1 Important information
The boiler must never be started without its glycol mixture. Therefore, never connect 12 V to the boiler
before the system has been filled with glycol mixture. Always empty the fresh water tank in the boiler
if there is a risk of frost, and when the vehicle is not going to be used. Otherwise, there is a risk of
freezing.

Always wear protective gloves to prevent injury caused by sharp edges during installation.
NOTICE
Never place the boiler in the passenger compartment of type M2 or M3 vehicles.
Boiler placement
The most suitable location for the boiler is in a wardrobe or storage compartment, but it may also be
housed under the false floor of the vehicle. If located outside the vehicle, the boiler must be built into
an enclosed compartment to protect against water splashes, exhaust gases etc.
When choosing its position, remember to allow for removing the service hatch (Fig. 3, item 1). Make
sure there is sufficient space to remove the boiler, and/or replace components when servicing it.
The data plate (Fig. 3, item 2) must be legible after installation. Remember also that the flue must not
be on the same side as an awning or canopy.
Installation measurements according to Fig. 3 are recommended minimum measurements for boiler
installation. The space in which the boiler is installed must be well-ventilated, with a minimum ventila-
tion area of 70 cm . Bolt the boiler securely to the floor through the bracket holes (Fig. 3, item 3)
