5.12 Installation of safety valve/ drain valve
Only original Alde valves may be used. The safety valve / drain valve must be mounted on the hose for
incoming fresh water (Fig. 17).
CAUTION
The safety valve / drain valve must not be installed higher than the hose connection on the boiler.
1.
Drill a Ø 16 mm hole into the floor for the safety/drain valve's drainage. Then screw the safety/
drain valve securely into the floor.
2.
Fit a fresh water hose between the safety/drain valve and the hose connection on the boiler (fig.
15/16, item 4).
3.
Connect the safety/drain valve to the vehicle's fresh water system.
4.
Fit a non-return valve, part no. 3079100 (fig. 17) on the fresh water hose between the safety/
drain valve and the fresh water pump.
5.
For 3030: Fit the hose on the bleed valve's hose sleeve on the hot water output (fig. 15, item 6).
Pull the hose through the floor. Cut the hose obliquely at an angle of 30° from the direction of
travel (see fig. 9, page 41). The hose must not be blocked.
6.
For 3030 Plus: Drill a Ø 16 mm hole into the floor for the safety/drain valve's drainage. Then
screw the safety/drain valve securely into the floor. Do this next to the safety/drain valve for cold
water.
7.
For 3030 Plus: Fit the hot water hose to the hot water output (fig. 16, item 5).
8.
For 3030 Plus: Connect the safety/drain valve to the hot water hose.
9.
For 3030 Plus: Fit the hose to the bleed valve's hose sleeve (fig. 16, item 6). Pull the hose
through the floor. Cut the hose obliquely at an angle of 30° from the direction of travel (see fig. 9,
page 41). The hose must not be blocked.
