10.19. Activating standby for remote operation
EN 60335-2-53 specifies that sauna control units with a remote start function
must be set manually to "Standby for remote operation" mode.
This activation must take place again after each remote start and stop
procedure.
Perform the following steps:
With safety shut-off activated (standard)
The setting "SdO" in the technician menu is set to "SAF".
1. Make sure that the sauna control unit is in standby mode.
2. Press the On/Off button A and the mode button D simultaneously for about
3 seconds.
► In the display 1 "rc" (remote control) flashes and the remote control
symbol 9 flashes on the optional control panel for the additional output
(Pro D2i / Pro D3i only).
► The sauna control unit is then ready to be started using a remote start
signal the display "rc" goes out.
► After a remote stop or manual switching off of the sauna control unit, the
mode has to be activated again.
When the door sensor is activated
The setting "SdO" in the technician menu is set to "dor".
1. Make sure that the sauna control unit is in standby mode.
2. Press the On/Off button A and the mode button D simultaneously for about
3 seconds.
► In the display 1 a countdown of 30 seconds is displayed. The door can
be opened and closed as many times as desired during this time. After
the 30 seconds has elapsed, the door must be closed!
► "rc" (remote control) flashes in the display 1.
► The sauna control unit is then ready to be started using a remote start
signal the display "rc" goes out.
► After a remote stop or manual switching off of the sauna control unit, the
mode has to be activated again.
To cancel the "Standby for remote control" function, press the On/Off
button A for about 3 seconds.
