Loading SmartMedia /
CompactFlash Memory Cards
The Camedia C-2500L can take both SmartMedia and
CompactFlash memory cards simultaneously, or either of
them. The pictures you take are stored on these cards.
Loading SmartMedia Memory Card
You can use not only Olympus SmartMedia 3.3V cards, but
non-exclusive SmartMedia 3.3V cards. In the latter case, for-
mat the memory card with the Camedia C-2500L before
using it. 5 V cards cannot be used. Load the card as follows.

Open the card compartment cover.

With the cut corner facing downward, insert the
SmartMedia all the way into the slot farthest from the
lens.
Confirm the direction of the SmartMeida as shown in the
illustration, and insert it.

Close the card compartment cover until it clicks.
Removing SmartMedia Memory Card
Push the SmartMedia which has been inserted. The
SmartMedia will come out.
Caution
• NEVER pull the SmartMedia without pushing it.

CompactFlash
On peut introduire dans le Camedia C-2500L à la fois la carte
de mémoire SmartMedia et la carte de mémoire
CompactFlash ou l'une des deux. Les images prises sont
mémorisées sur ces cartes.
Mise en place de la carte de mémoire
SmartMedia
On peut utiliser non seulement des cartes SmartMedia de 3,3
V (Olympus), mais aussi des cartes SmartMedia de 3,3 V. On
devra formater celles-ci avec le Camedia 2500L avant l'utili-
sation. La Carte de 5 V n'est pas utilisable.
Charger la carte de la manière suivante.

Ouvrir le couvercle du logement des cartes.

Avec l'angle coupé orienté vers le bas, introduire
complètement la carte SmartMedia dans la fente la
plus éloignée de l'objectif.
Insérer la carte SmartMedia en suivant la flèche dans l'il-
lustration.

Refermer le couvercle du logement des cartes.On
entendra un déclic.
Retrait de la carte SmartMedia
Appuyer sur la carte SmartMedia mise en place. Elle en sorti-
ra.
Attention
• Ne jamais retirer la carte SmartMedia sans appuyer
dessus.

Einlegen der SmartMedia-
/CompactFlash-Karten
Das Modell Camedia C-2500L ist gleichzeitig für den Betrieb
mit SmartMedia-Karten oder CompactFlash-Karten vorgese-
hen. Die aufgenommenen Bilder werden auf diesen Karten
gespeichert.
Einlegen der SmartMedia-Karte
Neben den Olympus 3,3-V-SmartMedia-Karten können auch
3,3-V-SmartMedia-Karten anderer Hersteller benutzt wer-
den.Bei der Verwendung von SmartMedia-Karten anderer
Hersteller sind diese vor der Benutzung mit der Camedia
C-2500L zu formatieren. 5-V-Karten sind mit dem Gerät nicht
kompatibel. Die Karte ist wie folgt einzulegen:

Die Kartenfachabdeckung öffnen.

Mit der abgeschrägten Ecke nach unten weisend, die
SmartMedia-Karte bis zum Anschlag in den Schlitz
einführen, der sich am weitesten vom Objektiv entfer-
nt befindet.
Überprüfen Sie die korrekte Einsetzrichtung der
SmartMedia-Karte gemäß der Abbildung.

Die Kartenfachabdeckung schließen, bis sie hörbar
einrastet.
Entfernen der SmartMedia-Karte
Die eingelegte SmartMedia-Karte hineindrücken. Die
SmartMedia-Karte wird nun ausgeworfen.
Achtung
• Die SmartMedia-Karte darf niemals ohne vorheriges
Hineindrücken herausgezogen werden.
