Instructions for Use
The following cleaning process has been validated.
• Wrap the connection cable with the handpiece in a circle with a diameter of at least 20 cm. (For storage
of the connection cable, we recommend our mesh basket, see section 8, "Accessories & Spare Parts",
page 84.)
• Place the handpiece into the cleaning and disinfection machine such that the side of the handpiece with
the sonotrode is facing down. This prevents the rinsing liquid from accumulating in the handpiece.
• Store the sonotrode/ fork wrench in a small mesh basket during automated cleaning / disinfection.

• Empty the chamber of the washer-disinfector between the process steps.
• Remove the products from the washer-disinfector at the end of the program and check them for
residual contamination. In case of doubt, repeat the process. If the items are not completely dry after
phase 6, extended drying or post-drying using a clean, lint-free cloth is recommended.
• If needed, dry the blind hole on the sonotrode again manually using filtered, oil-free compressed air.
