Changing the Display Language

The display language has been factory-preset to English. Users can select a different language by
proceeding as follows:
• Place the ultrasonic unit (1, front fold-out page) on a level, dry and solid surface.
• Connect a handpiece (8, front fold-out page) to a connecting socket (2, front fold-out page), inserting
the plug of the connecting cable fully into the socket.
• Connect the mains cable first to the unit (5, front fold-out page) and then to a grounding socket-outlet.
Once connected to a mains socket-outlet, the unit automatically goes into standby mode.
• With the unit in standby mode, simultaneously operate the hand activation pushbutton (10,
front fold-out page) and the On/Standby switch (4, front fold-out page) and hold them down until the
display lights up.
• Using the hand activation pushbutton, you can now select among the following languages: German,
English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
• Confirm your preferred language by operating the On/Standby switch. This turns off the unit
automatically.
• Upon turning on the unit again with the On/Standby switch, the display language will have been
changed as desired for future use.
4.3.4

Visual Check

• Check visually that all components used are free of defects.
− Damaged components must not be used. Replace!
The tip of the sonotrode must not show any signs of mechanical damage. It must not be bent or rammed
(typical damage after the handpiece has fallen down).
