After intercommunication functionality is parameterized, a restart of the modules is al
ways required. Then the settings will be applied the next time the modules are restarted.
When the modules are started, first the connected interface modules are initialized, as
indicated by the flashing red LED.
Super-master function
The super-master is responsible for data handling within the setups and makes the meas
ured data flow available on the 10+2 bus. The head station parameterized as super-mas
ter also has exclusive full access to the connected torque transducer. This means for
example that the shunt signal can only be triggered by the super-master. All incoming
data can be scaled and filtered separately and non-interactively within the setups (super-
master/slave mode).
Slave function
The slave "listens" to the communication data flow between the torque sensor and super-
master. It acts passively, functioning only as a listener within the setup. All incoming data
