Input of the interpolation gradient in Frequency mode: When transferring the calculated
interpolation factor from the calibration certificate, select the factor with the unit [Nm/Hz]
and enter it in the interpolation gradient field. As the TIM-EC processes digital measured
values, the gradient factor is accordingly converted into [Nm/Nm] without a dimension and
shown in the correction factor field. The value of the correction factor field is then used to
correct the measured value.

If both Supporting points approximations are active, the TIM-EC only applies the corres­
ponding diagnosis error flag Measured value overflow or underflow ±120% to the nominal
(rated) torque (see section 10.3.4 "Fieldbus interface", page 38). So in the above example,
this is the measuring range 1:1.
Information
If, for example, a torque transducer calibration is performed in the application and the fre­
quency input is used, the setpoint/actual values must be entered in [Nm/Hz] in the table
display to be used when using the TIM rotation speed input. The TIM measurement display
cannot be used to to read off the actual values in this case, as this is a digital realization of
the measured value, i.e. in Nm.
