You can save and load various settings in 32 parameter sets in the interface module and
reset all settings to the factory default.
If you need more than 32 parameter sets, they must be saved as a complete block. All
parameter sets ex factory are flagged to indicate that they have not yet been saved. They

cannot therefore be selected via EtherCAT . Only parameter sets that have explicitly
been saved at least 1 time and therefore declared valid can then be selected via Ether­
®
CAT .
There are 32 parameter sets, 1 factory default parameter set (read only) and a working
parameter set. The working parameter set contains data from the active data parameter
set and data that are e.g. not explicitly shown in a parameter set, for instance the network
settings.
