MP tray pickup

The product picks up one sheet of paper from the MP tray.

The operational sequence of the MP tray pickup is as follows:
1. The DC controller rotates the drum motor when it receives a print command from the formatter.
2.
The MP tray pickup solenoid is driven at a specified timing.
3.
The MP tray pickup roller rotates.
4.
The lifting plate moves up.
5.
The MP tray pickup roller picks up the top paper.
6.
The MP tray separation pad removes any multiple-fed sheets.
7.
One sheet of paper is fed into the product.

MP tray media-presence detection

The DC controller detects whether the paper is loaded in the MP tray by monitoring the MP tray media
out sensor. The MP tray media-presence detection is not performed during Sleep mode. The DC
controller determines a media-absence and notifies the formatter when the MP tray media out sensor
does not detect the paper.
