e) Description of the carburettor

The carburettor is built into the "FORCE" combustion engine and
is made of a combination of plastic and metal. Plastic is poor at
absorbing heat, which prevents the fuel mixture from evaporat-
ing prematurely in the carburettor. This can occur in carburettors
that are made entirely of metal.
The carburettor design makes the fuel supply more precise
and easier to configure, even when the engine is hot. Once a
carburettor setting has been selected, it stays constant during
operation.
A = Mixture adjustment screw (main nozzle needle/nozzle
holder)
B = Fuel inlet for tank
C = Throttle stop screw (idle adjustment screw)
D = Connection to the engine
E = Idle mixture adjustment screw
F = Control lever for the throttle servo
G = Air intake opening (air filter connection)
Attention, important!
The carburettor is preconfigured and shipped ready to use. Do not turn the adjustment screws on the
carburettor when using the vehicle for the first time.
If the engine does not start, check that there are no other faults before turning the adjustment screws.
Only adjust the idle and throttle settings when the engine has completed the break-in process. As a result,
do not make any adjustments to the carburettor until the engine has run for at least 2 - 3 hours.
Adjust the screws on the carburettor in very small steps (max. 1/16 of a turn) and make a note of the new
position/direction of rotation.
Test the new setting to see whether there are any improvements. Always adjust the settings carefully; if
necessary, you can go back to the previous setting.
If you have never configured a carburettor for a model vehicle, consult an experienced model enthusiast
before configuring any settings.
