Description of the model

Do you want everything and immediately?
You made the correct choice with GP Monster Truck „Ice Tiger" RTR im Maßstab 1:6. The strong two-stroke engine with cable pull starter and the
complete RC installation with servos and receiver are already mounted. The chassis holders are already mounted.
However, you still have to charge rechargeable batteries or to insert batteries, to fill the tank and to install the car body. Now, you are ready!
Highest quality materials and first-grade workmanship guarantee untroubled driving fun even under tough operating conditions and a long life of the
model.
The low degree of maintenance leaves you lots of time to concentrate on driving and to perfect your manner of driving.
Solid Technology for each driving style
A 4mm strong mounting plate with cropped sides ensures highest stability and flexural stiffness, a solid bumper impact protection made of plastic
material protects the front axle in case of a frontal crash.
A double disk brake with composite fibreglass brake disks in rear wheel drive makes the power of the model controllable at all times.Generously
dimensioned, adjustable oil-pressure shock absorbers ensure road adherence and road holding.
The model shows highest flexibility with varied set-up possibilities. Adjust the undercarriage by setting the suspension, a spring travel limit, the camber
inclination as well as by setting the wheel alignment of the front and rear axles to your driving style and needs.
In addition to the holders on the front and rear axles, the chassis is fastened respectively at two further holders right and left of the chassis. This pre-
vents any distortion or vibration of the chassis by higher driving speeds. At the same time, the adjusted chassis protects the fixtures from flying stones.

Technical information

Engine:
The GP "Ice Tiger" RTR on a scale of 1:6 is driven by an air-cooled 3 ccm two stroke engine with 1.78 kW (.4PS).
Carburettor and a recoil starter that is flanged to the crank case are already mounted.
The engine is operated with two-stroke mix (1:5) with 4% oil proportion and super or super plus fuel, der im Schwerpunkt positionierte Tank, with
snap closing holds 580 ccm.
Drive:
The driving power of the 3 ccm two stroke engine is transmitted via a two-stage spur gear unit onto the rear axle differential at the ratio of 7.7:1. The
pinion on the clutch bell (19t) engages in the toothed wheel on the gearbox shaft (49t). Furthermore, the brake disks for the drive are located on the
gearbox shaft as well as at the other end another pinion (16t), which transmits the drive on the spur wheel (48t) located on the rear axle differential
housing.
The differential of the rear axle has metal beval wheels and planet wheels, the axle drive shafts are supported by ball bearings.
Chassis frame:
The independent wheel suspension at the double transverse control arms as well as the aluminum oil dampened shock absorbers which are adjusta-
ble with ring bolts optimize road-holding, thus fulfilling all expectations.
The alignment (or the Ackermann effect) can be adjusted approximately by modifying the attachment points in the steering arms. Fine tuning the align-
ment is effected via clamping screws in the lower transverse control arms (rear) or the outer steering links, the fine tuning of the camber inclination via
clamping screws in the upper transverse control arms.
The vehicle is slowed down with a very effective double disk brake system with composite fibreglass disk brakes on the drive shaft which drive the rear
axle differential.
The wheels of the Monster Truck with multi spike profile offer a perfect grip on all terrains.
Chassis:
The mounting plate made of aluminium with cropped, raised sides ensures high stability and flexural stiffness with little weight. This rigidity leads to a
good driving stability, since the chassis tuning is not superposed by suspension torques from the chassis. Plastic sides additionally serve as a splash
guardThe chassis plate angled upwards by approx. 10° in the front axle section determines the castor angle and results in better reaction of the sus-
pension.
An underride protection made of aluminium prevents the main pinion, which protrudes from the chassis, from hitting the ground in hard terrains.
A bumper impact protection and a roll cage made of impact resistant plastic material protect the fixtures in case of a frontal crash as well as in case of
a rollover. The spark plug with the plug connector is covered additionally with an aluminium cap.
