8. Operation

a) Removing the body
Remove the retaining clips on the body, and then carefully lift the body off the chassis.

b) Installing the antenna cable for the receiver

Move the on/off switch (A) on the receiver to the "OFF"
position.
Guide the antenna cable (D) through the antenna tube and
insert it into the holder (B) next to the receiver box (C).
If the cable is inside the receiver box, loosen the screws
on the cover of the receiver box and remove the cover.
Guide the antenna cable through the corresponding hole
on the receiver box.
Tip: Protect the receiver from strong vibrations by wrap-
ping it in foam.
Close the receiver box.
To obtain an optimal range, the antenna cable must protrude vertically from the vehicle.
Never cut or wind the antenna cable, as this significantly reduces the transmission range.

c) Inserting the receiver battery into the vehicle

Open the battery box (A). The cover is secured with two
clips.
The battery box contains a two-pin red BED connection
that comes directly from the on/off switch.
Connect the receiver battery to the BEC connection; en-
sure that it is connected in the correct polarity (red cable =
plus/+, black cable = minus/-).
Insert the receiver battery into the battery box, and then
close the battery box.
Tip: Secure the receiver battery to the battery box (e.g.
with a piece of rigid foam or sponge).
