• Place the charger and battery on a heat-resistant, non-combustible surface.
• The charger and battery will heat up during the charging process. Ensure that there is a sufficient dis-
tance between the charger and battery. Never place the battery directly onto the charger. Never cover
the charger and the battery. Do not expose the charger or battery to extremely high/low temperatures
or direct sunlight.
• Never leave batteries unattended when they are charging.
• Never use an excessive charging current; observe the manufacturer's specifications for the ideal/maxi-
mum charging current.
• Disconnect the battery from the charger when the battery is fully charged.
• The charger and the rechargeable battery must not get damp or wet. This may result in a fatal electric
shock or cause a fire or explosion!
• Before recharging a battery, read the operating instructions that came with the battery charger.
b) Receiver battery
• Use a high-current 5-cell NiMH hump rechargeable battery pack (6.0 V rated voltage,1300 mAh recom-
mended minimum capacity, with BEC connection) to power the receiver and the two servos.
Conventional batteries do not deliver a high current, which is required for the servo and other parts. For
this reason, never use conventional batteries to power the receiver and servos.
• Before charging the receiver battery, disconnect it from the receiver and remove it from the vehicle
battery box.
